한국 순교자 시카고 한인천주교회는 시카고 대교구 내에 있는 한인들을 대상으로 복음을 선포하며 그리스도 안에서 보편교회와 일치를 이루고 나눔과 섬김의 신앙공동체를 이루어 간다.

우리는 공동체의 특성에 따라 한국의 고유한 신앙적 문화적 유산이 미국 내에서도 잘 계승될 수 있도록 영어권 한인(Korean American)들의 영적 체험과 신앙성숙을 위한 물질적, 정신적 지원을 아끼지 않는다.

우리는 평신도의 역할의 중요성을 인식하고 그리스도의 사제직, 예언직, 왕직에 자발적이고 능동적으로 참여하여 하느님 백성 전체의 사명 중 자신들의 역할을 수행할 수 있도록 하며 평신도들의 사도직 단체가 활성화 되도록 한다.

우리는 피로 신앙을 지켜낸 한국 순교자들의 도움으로 사랑을 베푸시는 하느님 아버지와 은총을 내리시는 우리 주 예수 그리스도와 친교를 이루시는 성령과 함께 언제나 십자가의 삶을 살아감으로 십자가의 승리를 지향한다.

We, the Korean Martyrs’ Catholic Church, belong to the Archdiocese of Chicago. We encourage everyone to serve in the community and proclaim the good news to Korean immigrants and Korean American. We strive for unity in the Pontifical church while we come together in union with our Lord Jesus Christ.

As an ethnic community, in order to ensure the succession of our religious and cultural heritage as Koreans, we seek to provide sufficient opportunities to the younger generation in our community so they can grow stronger in faith.

In recognition of the importance of the laity, we seek to promote and strengthen the lay apostolate in our community by voluntarily and actively performing our roles as the people of God in dedication to the priestly, prophetical, and kingly functions of Christ.

With the help of Korean Martyrs, the love of God the Father, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, we aim towards the victory of the Cross through living in light of the passion of Jesus Christ.
